Paranormal Research Initiative
Welcome to the Paranormal Research Initiative website! Founded in the fall of 2007, the Paranormal Research Initiative (PRI) is a small group of independent researchers and casual investigators based in the Niagara region. PRI is dedicated to the investigation and research of alleged paranormal activity at historically significant locations through scientific methodology. Reports on the findings from PRI investigations are presented on this website, along with other information related to paranormal research.
We believe in taking a sceptical approach to paranormal research, trying to “debunk” evidence of paranormal activity before labelling it “paranormal”. To this date, while we have collected various anomalies, our investigations have yet to reveal anything that we may confidently identify as having paranormal origins. However, our hunt continues!

Investigation
The last few months have been a busy time for PRI. In addition to our ongoing investigation, we were fortunate enough to investigate a significant historic landmark at the end of August. We are still in the process of reviewing all of the photographs and recordings taken at this site. Until permission is granted, unfortunately, we will not be able to divulge much about this case.
